FALL TRAVEL TEAMS (16u-18u)

Our staff focuses on several important goals with players during the Fall Season. 

1) We always work on player development.  Each of our players have improvements to make in their game, and we are here to help them make positive strides forward.

2) We work with players and their families on navigating the college recruiting process. Our goal is to help open as many doors as possible to further each player’s career.  

3) Competitive repetition.  The Wisconsin weather allows for limited live innings each season.  We want to maximize the number of live innings each of our players gets to play as we feel this is one of the main ways to improve.

We play 4 tournaments in the Fall.  Typical Fall tournaments are set up so teams play 2 games Saturday and 2 games Sunday.  We will also host a college showcase at the end of the Fall for Sophomores-Seniors.  This showcase allows our players to showcase themselves in front of many college scouts looking to recruit top area talent!

FALL TRAVEL TEAMS (13u-15u)

Our 15u Fall Team will participate in a competitive local league.  The goal with this team is to introduce players to the ‘MBA Way’ and to get each player more live innings on the field.  

Additional Details

All of our Fall Teams will practice 1x/week.  The location of practices is most often inside at Milwaukee Baseball Academy but we will also practice outdoors depending on team needs.

SUMMER TRAVEL TEAMS (13u-18u)

All MBA Summer Team players participate in our off-season training as well as our in-season tournament play.  

In the off-season, players can expect the following:

  • Indoor practices:  start in early November and goes until the beginning of April for the youth teams (13U-14U) and until the High School season starts for HS teams (15u-18u).
  • Teams will practice 2x per week throughout the offseason.
  • Our program uses technology such as Hittrax, Rapsodo, Stalker radar and more to track player progression throughout the year. 
  • Players get free access to the facility for additional work during designated hours.
  • Players also receive discounted rates on all additional training programs.

During in-season tournament play, players can expect the following:

  • 1-2 team practices per week.  Practices are typically held at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Wauwatosa or at MBA
  • 13/14u teams will participate in 4-5 weekend tournaments from late April through the end of July as well as competing in a local league for weekday games.
  •  High School teams will play in 6 tournaments from early June through early August.
  • The amount of travel for each team will depend on the age and caliber of the team, however ALL teams will travel so please be prepared for some tournaments to require overnight stays.  MBA teams most often stay in the Upper Midwest (Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota) for tournaments.
